Not much news on the Pirate Festival in Wilmington so maybe there are other festivals?  Heard about the Bluegrass in Cary, what are more and when are they? Undecided

North Carolina has festivals every weekend for one reason or another.  There are so many, it is no surprise that a lot of people don't know they are going on.

I know of a winery tour and a brewery tour going on this weekend.  There are also several food festivals.  There is a huge list of festivals this weekend as it is a holiday weekend and the weather is great.

The staff at planetbarfly.com show up to many of the beer festivals.  Especially those in the central part of the state.  We will most certainly be at the upcoming World Beer Festival in Durham on October 3.

Maybe it would be an idea to list these events on the website and then put notes on how to find your group?  You could even have something like "come sample our version of ______"

yes that's a good idea if we could have list of events and especially the exact time and location or other necessary info about that event but i think it will take a lot of time from our admin. what do you think?

We will post before any big events that we attend, to let everyone know.

We don't serve anything at the beer festivals.  We participate in the tastings and hand out information on the website when asked.  We gave out bumper stickers and flyers at the beer festival in Raleigh earlier this month.  We had a great time and hope everyone else did too.

For now I think the "Nightlife & Entertainment" board is a great place for people to talk about the events they like.  Are there any events you are planning on going to this summer?
