Hey Everybody,
We have some pretty big plans in the works for the city drink special websites (ie: barflyraleigh.com, barflydurham.com, etc.). I would like to use this post to give the most important people in the world (aka you guys, our users) the opportunity to give us your thoughts, suggestions and feedback.
Let us know what we're doing wrong (or right). Are there any features that we haven't thought of yet? Hate the color green? Let us know. Thanks!

Not sure if this would work, but how about photos of odd things at the bars or places with a contest such as "Where is this?" or "Can anyone any one explain this?" If changed weekly might get traffic coming through site and quarterly the person with the most correct answers could be given a free drink or meal by one of the restaurants. Only needs 4 drinks per year and some one to post the photos. Might also be fun to see what answers one gets!

I can't think of any freeware that is nightlife related, outside of some iPhone applications. Do you have some suggested software? |

JJ, I think your idea is a really good suggestion. We can host the contests here in the forum. Incorporate some of the advertisers from the drink special websites. Sort of a scavenger hunt, but actually fun. Great suggestion, keep them coming! |

Glad you liked the idea. It should work and cost very little in time or effort. It takes me about 45 seconds to add photos to my site and places should be willing it it brings in business and costs virtually nothing. Good Luck

Another idea to toss around. Why not set up a page to ask people to create their own drink recipe with original ingredients and names? Would be simple enough to do and might get some interesting ideas! Possibly every so often could have a night somewhere to try a few.  |

I think starting a topic for drink recipes is an excellent idea that we can accomplish quite easily. I've made a new board topic for this, so as it grows, the pages can be more easily found. The city sites are community driven and the listings are free. Bars can be added by anyone as well the bar descriptions and details can be updated through the (Report Inaccurate Information) link on the profile page. You don't need to be a member to update a bar profile.
We update profiles and drink specials on a daily basis. Currently about half of the bars have an existing description. For those bars that do not have a description we provide a link to add one.
Do you think we are going about this wrong? We are all ears.
